The five-year-old will first resume in the Group 2 Expressway Stakes over 1,200 metres before taking on the 2012 Apollo Stakes.

Shoot Out will then go on to run in the Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes on March 10, 2012.

“I think you will see his best in the Apollo Stakes and Chipping Norton but he is coming along very nicely,” trainer Chris Waller said.

“You can just tell he is a class galloper.”

Shoot Out has won seven of his 24 race starts and has earned close to $1.9 million in prize money.

The High Chaparral gelding finished second last start in the Group 2 Eagle Farm Cup behind Glass Harmonium on June 4, 2012.
