2012 Apollo Stakes winner is Rain Affair

Rain Affair is the winner of the 2012 Apollo Stakes at Rosehill.

Four-year-old gelding Rain Affair, a last start winner in the Expressway Stakes, was the race favourite and did not disappoint. Rain Affair won the 1400m WFA race by 2.3 lengths. Shoot Out grabbed second ahead of Danleigh and Herculian Prince.

Rain Affair, by Commands out of I Believe, has now won 10 races from 11 starts and earned over $650,000 in prize money.
